Beijer Ref buys Toshiba distributor
4th September 2017SWEDEN/PORTUGAL: Swedish refrigeration wholesale group Beijer Ref is acquiring the assets of DX Por, the main Portuguese distributor of Toshiba air conditioning equipment.
DX Por is the main Toshiba distributor in Portugal – a market estimated to be worth nearly €95m per year. The company was established in 2005 and reports annual sales of around €4.2m. Its head office is in Porto.
“The acquisition complements our footprint in the Iberian Peninsula with an entity in Portugal and will strengthen the distribution of Toshiba air-conditioning systems in this country. This is fully in line with our strategy”, said Beijer Ref CEO Per Bertland.
