Bookings open for major HFO conference

UK: Discounted early-bird booking are now open for the first ever international conference on the real-life applications of HFO refrigerants.

Hosted by the UK’s Institute of Refrigeration, this IIR International Conference will focus on the use of these new refrigerants being heralded as replacements for high GWP HFCs.

This breakthrough conference will provide the first critical analysis by the international refrigeration community of how HFOs are being applied in practice, the lessons that have been learned so far and the environmental and safety challenges still to be addressed.

Over 70 top experts in system design, component manufacture, end users as well as independent researchers with direct experience of the use of HFOs will look at their use in a range of applications including chillers, air conditioning, transport refrigeration, heat pumps and foams. Issues such as risk assessment, leakage and flammability will also be discussed.

Delegates will learn where and how HFOs are being used, the experiences of those applying these new refrigerants and the challenges of switching to HFOs.

In addition to the presentations, delegates will also be able to attend related short courses and take part in a number of site tours.

The conference is taking place in Birmingham, UK, from September 2-5.

Booking now open at www.hfo2018.com.
