PHILIPPINES: A giant air conditioning unit is helping to keep commuters cool at a bus stop in Manila.

The Carrier Cool Spot is a larger-than-life functioning appliance operated by Carrier Philippines from 06.00 to 22.00 every day at Crescent Park West in Manila’s financial business district Bonifacio Global City.

Already a popular landmark, the giant AC unit was conceived by advertising agency Ace Saatchi & Saatchi to promote Carrier’s Smart+Cool system, which integrates the company’s newly developed IoT smart plug with select air conditioners and an exclusive app.
