JAPAN: Carrier is to introduce its data centre cooling solutions to the Japanese market for the first time at next week’s information and communications technology exhibition, Interop Tokyo.

Carrier Global Corporation’s Japanese subsidiary the Nippon Carrier Corporation will introduce the strategic product lineup that it is developing for the Asian data centre market and share its future plans.

Carrier supports efficient and sustainable operations in data centers around the world with solutions centered on air conditioning technology, and has long been introducing products, mainly the Universal Smart X (USX) series modular chillers, to data centres in Japan.

The exhibit at Interop Tokyo will include solutions already on sale, such as the modular chiller USX Series that is being introduced domestically for data centre applications, the Carrier Aquaedge 19DV chiller that uses the low GWP HFO refrigerant R1233zd and ceramic bearings, as well as the Carrier Aquaforce 30XF screw chiller using R1234ze that Carrier has rolled out globally and will soon be introducing to the Japanese market.
