Carrier rebrands BluEdge service platform

USA: Carrier has named its BluEdge global service centres as Carrier Customer Command Centres. 

The BluEdge service platform, first launched in 2020, is designed to meet special customer requirements and keep equipment running efficiently throughout the product lifecycle.

Carrier says the new identity underscores its customer-first commitment and the growing role of the centres in helping customers improve energy efficiency, increase equipment uptime, strengthen temperature compliance and lower maintenance costs.

The 24/7 global network monitors more than 240,000 connected assets and supports over 32,000 buildings worldwide. 

Each month, the centres identify more than 10,000 service needs through predictive analytics – often before customers notice an issue – and handle over 12,000 service technician calls to accelerate resolution. 

Over the past year, the centres remotely resolved more than 60% of HVAC and lighting issues, reducing downtime and avoiding costly truck rolls.

The Carrier Customer Command Centres also play a critical role in connected cold chain solutions, providing customers with enhanced visibility into shipments and greater assurance of compliance.
