Chemours makes Fortune 500 list

USA: Refrigerant manufacturer Chemours has made the Fortune 500 list of the USA’s largest corporations just two year after being spun off from DuPont.

The global chemical company, which also deals in titanium technologies and other fluoroproducts, has been ranked at no 482 on the Fortune magazine list after achieving revenues of $5.5bn in 2016.

“We’re so proud to see our name on this coveted list less than two years after becoming a public company and overcoming some real challenges at our start,” said president and CEO Mark Vergnano.
