Cool skills is World Refrigeration Day theme

UK: The secretariat of World Refrigeration Day has revealed that this year’s activities will be marked by an emphasis on the diverse and essential skills that make cooling and sustainable heating possible.

Carrying the theme Cool Skills, this year’s World Refrigeration Day on June 26 will highlight the people and expertise behind the systems that protect food, preserve medicines, enable comfort and support sustainability worldwide.

On LinkedIn, the World Refrigeration Day secretariat explained that the theme was deliberately broad in order that every individual, organisation, and region can adapt it to suit their own focus.

“Whether you’re shining a light on technical training, career pathways, environmental impact, or human comfort, there’s a place for your story under the Cool Skills banner,” WRD says.
