CSW acquires AC Leak Freeze

AC-Leak-FreezeUSA: Industrial conglomerate CSW Industrials has acquired refrigerant leak repair solutions company AC Leak Freeze for $16.75m.

Manufactured in Baltimore, Maryland, AC Leak Freeze is a polymer-free technology designed to seal leaks in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. In 2015, AC Leak Freeze generated sales of around $2.3m.

CSW Industrials operates across three segments: industrial products; coatings, sealants and adhesives; and specialty chemicals. Products include well-known HVAC brands RectorSeal, Balco, Smoke Guard and Whitmore.

Following the acquisition, AC Leak Freeze will become part of the CSW Industrials’ Specialty Chemicals segment.
