Daikin launches heat pump installer programme

BELGIUM: Daikin Europe is launching a Europe-wide support programme for its Altherma heat pump installers. 

The Stand By Me – Certified Partner programme allows installers to manage Daikin’s residential heat pump technologies, including the upcoming Altherma 4 series, and is open for all installers to join.

Installers will receive hands-on training, both online and in person, on how to work with the various Daikin Altherma units. 

After completing the training programme, installers receive certifications that cover the entire Daikin Altherma range, depending on the refrigerant used in the heat pump. 

“We want to ensure that installers are fully trained and can provide great quality and safe installation of Daikin products in people’s homes,” commented Daikin Europe general manager heating & renewables Patrick Crombez. “We designed the programme to continuously raise the safety levels of the heat pump industry as a whole,” he added. 

The anticipated rapid expansion of the heat pump market towards 2030 will increase demand for proficient installers. “Amidst a wave of new installers who are not yet familiar with heat pumps, and an increasing demand for training, Daikin’s Stand By Me – Certified Partner takes the lead. We guide current and new installers to provide the best installation and after-sales service to the end user,” Crombez said.
