Daikin sponsors German handball

GERMANY: Daikin has become the new sponsor of German handball, the country’s second largest team sport.

The sponsorships with Germany’s national handball association DHB and its professional league HBL were signed on April 30 prior to the men’s international EURO Cup against Spain at Berlin’s Max-Schmeling-Halle.

“We at Daikin are thrilled to enter into this partnership and we look forward to supporting both the men’s handball Bundesliga and the men’s and women’s national teams in their future successes,” said Daikin Deutschland MD Filip De Graeve.

The sponsoring includes, among other things, different advertising placements such as Daikin perimeter and floor stickers at all international matches of the men’s and women’s national teams, as well as at the REWE Final4 and the Pixum Super Cup.
