Daikin to build new applied factory in Saudi Arabia
27th November 2025
SAUDI ARABIA: Daikin is to open a new chiller and hydronic heat pump manufacturing facility in Jeddah.
The facility is described as being part of a structured ramp-up of operations in the region, after the establishment of its UAE factory in 2014 and its other Saudi factory for the production of air handling units and other applied air conditioning solutions in 2022.

Daikin has not revealed the size of the new factory, its potential capacity or level of investment but production will start with Daikin’s large, air-cooled chillers. The portfolio will be expanded later in line with evolving market needs.
The facility will cater to meet the requirements of regional customers in the Kingdom and the wider region and build on Daikin’s earlier investment in 2022, in the Sudair Industrial City facility near Riyadh.
