Daikin to expand European development
BELGIUM: Daikin Europe is looking to appoint an additional 40 development engineers in a major expansion of its r&d activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The Japanese air conditioning and heat pump manufacturer’s European subsidiary is looking for engineers at both its headquarters in Ostend and at its satellite facility in Ghent.
Engineers to oversee the development of new heating products are being recruited for Ostend, while development engineers to create mobile applications for heating and climate solutions, with a prime focus on IoT, are required for its satellite operation in Ghent. Daikin Europe is also hiring individuals to oversee patents and regulations.
Daikin’s EMEA Development Centre was established in 2011 to develop new products designed specifically to meet the rapidly changing customer demands and needs of local markets in Europe.
