Ebm-Papst builds new US plant

USA: German fans and motors manufacturer Ebm-Papst has commenced construction of a new €12m, 16,000m2 production plant near the current US location in Johnson City.
The 12-hectare land, on which the new plant will be built in Telford, TN, was acquired three years ago. The new plant complements the existing production site in Johnson City and the US headquarters in Farmington, CT. When it opens in summer 2022, it will accommodate 120 employees.
USA MD Mark Shiring said that the expanded facilities was in response to market growth in North America but would also guarantee faster delivery times.
