EBM-Papst CEO quits

Rainer-HundsdorferGERMANY: Rainer Hundsdoerfer, CEO of EBM-Papst, has left the fans and drives company by mutual consent following “differing views on the future corporate management”.

Hundsdoerfer was appointed to the role in 2012 following the retirement of former chairman Hans-Jochen Beilke. He was previously chairman of the industry division at mechanical engineering company and automobile parts supplier Schaeffler AG.

During his time at EBM-Papst Hundsdoerfer further strengthened the position of the company, raising sales to around €1.7bn.
