Eva Karlsson appointed CEO of Swegon

SWEDEN: HVAC manufacturer Swegon has appointed Eva Karlsson as CEO of the group, following the departure of Andreas Örje Wellstam.

Wellstam, who was appointed CEO in 2020, left last month to become chief investment officer at Investment AB Latour.

Karlsson has served as interim CEO of Swegon Group since the beginning of February. She was appointed vice president for air handling, cooling and heating, Swegon’s largest business area in 2022, and will also continue in that role until a successor is appointed.

Before joining Swegon, Karlsson worked as CEO at Armatec, spent 25 years at SKF in executive roles within manufacturing, product and business development, among others, and she has also served as a board member at Assa Abloy, part of Investment AB Latour’s investment portfolio.
