Fausing takes over as Danfoss CEO
DENMARK: Kim Fausing officially takes over as the new CEO of Danfoss this morning, following the departure of Niels B Christiansen.
Christiansen bowed out of the position he has held for the last nine years with a special reception in Nordborg last Thursday. Danfoss chairman Jørgen Mads Clausen saluted him by saying: “You have been the driving force in securing Danfoss’ great reputation. The strategy for the digital transformation is in place. Niels, your mission at Danfoss has been completed with prime results.”

The new CEO, 52-year-old Kim Fausing, joined Danfoss in 2007 as president of the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Division.
Kim Fausing has broad management experience from leading positions in global industrial companies. In 2008, he became executive vice president and COO, with responsibility for all the Danfoss segments as well as the Danfoss Business System and Global Procurement.
Prior to his time at Danfoss, Fausing was employed by the Hilti Corporation for 16 years, latterly as division president and member of the group executive management team.
