Francks expands in Norway

NORWAY: Swedish refrigeration contractor Francks Kylindustri and its Norwegian subsidiary Therma Industri have further strengthened their position in central Norway through the acquisition of Trøndelag Kuldeteknikk.

Established in 2010, and with a wide range of services in refrigeration technology, Trøndelag Kuldeteknikk offers a comprehensive portfolio of refrigeration solutions. The current owners will continue to be active in the group and maintain a significant ownership stake.

Trøndelag Kuldeteknik is a well-established business that will strengthen our ability to deliver small and medium-sized industrial cooling solutions and heat pumps to customers in central Norway,” said Therma Industri CEO Per Christian Sandved.

Swedish company Francks Kylindustri acquired Norwegian industrial refrigeration contractor Therma Industri AS in 2021. Together, the companies are the leading Nordic industrial and commercial refrigeration specialists in both Sweden and Norway with over 40 offices and around 500 employees.
