Frascold expands capacity

ITALY: Frascold has increased the capacity of its refrigeration and air conditioning compressor plant in Rescaldina, Milan, with new production machinery and an enlarged test line.
Five state-of-the-art CNC machining stations have been installed at the 53,000m² facility which currently produces over 70,000 screw and reciprocating compressors annually. The company says that this expansion will allow greater productivity and manufacturing flexibility.
In addition, Frascold has increased its testing capabilities with a new, larger pressure testing line for reciprocating compressors, specifically its 8-cylinder W series models.
