Hiroshi Shimada to head Daikin Italia

ITALY: Hiroshi Shimada has been appointed CEO and president of Daikin Air Conditioning Italy.

He succeeds Geert Vos, who will take on a new strategic role within Daikin Europe.

Shimada has been vice-president of Daikin Italia since December 2023, and has more than 30 years of experience at Daikin and a strong international background in the United States, the Middle East and Europe.
