IV Produkt expands AHU production

SWEDEN: AHU manufacturer IV Produkt has completed a major expansion of its headquarters in Växjö, Sweden, with the addition of over 5,000m² of new production facilities.

Designed to strengthen the company’s capacity to meet increasing demand for its products, the new facilities include a completely new production line for AHU-integrated cooling machines and integrated reversible heat pumps.

Over the past five years, IV Produkt has invested over SEK400m (€36m) in increased production and office space, new machinery and additional land as part of a long-term growth strategy.

“We clearly see how AHU-integrated reversible heat-pumps playing a more and more significant role in the UK building sectors energy efficiency and decarbonisation work, so to be able to increase our production capacity of these key products is of course very satisfying,” said Manuel Swärd, IV Produkt’s export director west Europe.

Established in 1969, IV Produkt boasts a current output of 7,500 AHUs per year, with over 150,000 units produced to date.

Based in Växjö, Sweden, with subsidiaries in the UK, Norway, and Germany, IV Produkt employs over 450 people.
