Kelvion expands US production

USA: Kelvion has added an air cooled condenser line at its US heat exchanger manufacturing facility in Catoosa, Oklahoma.

This is the first time air cooled condensers will be manufactured at the 250,00ft² US factory which currently produces gasketed and brazed heat exchangers.

“Although this is a new production line in the US, the air cooled condensers have actually been produced for many years in England by our sister company, Kelvion Ltd,” said Jacob Wolfe, executive director for business development in the US.

Condensers will be produced in flatbed design up to 39ft long with a duty range of 5-240 tons. V-bank designs will also be available soon. Kelvion Air Cooled Condensers are UL listed for the US and Canada and are compatible with CO2, R448A, R449A, and R410A refrigerants.

The US factory in Tulsa’s Port of Catoosa was opened in 1984 and followed the purchase of the Rainey Corporation six year earlier.
