LFB Group acquires French AHU company Hydronic

FRANCE: The LFB Group has acquired French air handling unit manufacturer Hydronic from the Eoliance air treatment group.

Established in 1976, Hydronic designs, develops, manufactures and markets air handling units from its base in Mortagne-au-Perche, Normandy.

Hydronic’s main product is its MCX platform, a new generation of fully parametric and flexible air handling units.

LFB, the former Lennox EMEA business, sees the addition of Hydronic strengthening its portfolio which includes Friga-Bohn and Apx DCS.

Eoliance said that by joining LFB, Hydronic would benefit from a commercial presence in 46 countries, significant industrial synergies and purchasing and first-rate R&D resources.

“This transaction will allow Hydronic to continue its development and accelerate the deployment of the MCX platform on a European scale,” a company statement said.
