McMillan announced as new Toromont CEO

USA: Toromont Industries has announced that Michael McMillan will succeed Scott Medhurst as president and CEO.

Medhurst previously announced his intention to retire after a successful 35-year career with Toromont, the owner of leading Canadian contractor CIMCO Refrigeration.

McMillan joined Toromont in 2020, as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Richard Roy, chair of the board, said that McMillan has a proven track record for leadership and disciplined execution. “He has been a critical partner to Mr. Medhurst and the entire Toromont team, helping to successfully navigate Toromont through these unprecedented recent years.”

Medhurst continues as CEO until a successor for McMillan is appointed.
