Mitsubishi adds R32 to M series

MSZ-MitsubishiAUSTRALIA: Mitsubishi Electric Australia has launched a new M Series split system range running on the lower GWP refrigerant R32.

The inverter-controlled MSZ-GL series claims to be one of the quietest on the market with noise down to below 19dB in its “quiet mode” setting. It is available in sizes from 2.5kW-7.8kW.

Other features include a weekly timer, optional wifi control and Blue Fin anti-corrosion coil treatment.

MSZ-GL-Flyer-1Although Mitsubishi Electric has been selling R32 units in its home market for a couple of years, it has not been as quick as some of its rivals to adopt the new alternative to R410A in smaller air-conditioners. With its big rival Daikin pioneering R32 introductions, a number of other manufacturers, including Panasonic and Fujitsu, already have R32 units available in Australia.
