JAPAN: Mitsubishi Electric is to change the name of its air conditioner and refrigeration compressor manufacturing company in Thailand.

Established as Siam Compressor Industry Co Ltd in 1990 as Thailand’s first manufacturer of rotary compressors, the company will change its name to Mitsubishi Electric Siam Compressor Industry Co Ltd from April 1.
