Moisture recovery recommendation

BELGIUM: Eurovent has released a new recommendation on moisture recovery in ventilation and air conditioning systems.

The 32-page document, designed for investors and HVAC professionals who design combined ventilation and air conditioning systems, discusses the application of moisture recovery from extract air.

It provides an overview of available heat and moisture recovery technologies, sets out principles for their correct application and explains the benefits of moisture recovery in terms of energy and cost savings, as well as improved indoor environmental quality.

“As moisture recovery technologies lack sufficient standards, we are satisfied that the recommendation provides guidelines on how to correctly apply the technology for the purpose of higher energy savings and indoor comfort and wellbeing,” commented Rikard Lindbom vice chair of the Eurovent energy recovery components product group.

The document can be downloaded free of charge from the Eurovent website.
