Mostra Convegno hosts 162,000 visitors

ITALY: The organiser of Mostra Convegno Expocomfort is claiming 162,000 trade visitors at last week’s event in Milan.
These unaudited figures indicate a rise of around 4.5% on the previous event in 2016. The organiser claims a 6% increase in overseas visitors and a 4% rise in visitors from Italy.
The main increases were from countries such as India, the Far East and Middle East. In addition to the US and Canada, Argentina and Uruguay also registered large increases. The European presence was also significant, notably Ukraine, Romania, and Croatia.
Dates for the next event in 2020 are March 17-20.
