Mueller breaks ground on Bahrain plant

BAHRAIN: Copper tube manufacturer Mueller has begun construction of a copper tube manufacturing facility in Bahrain.

The Mueller Middle East plant, situated on the Bahrain International Investment Park, is expected to open in January 2018 and will produce commercial copper tubes to serve regional air conditioning and refrigeration OEMs. It will have the capacity to support the surrounding Middle East and North Africa region.

First announced at the end of 2015, Mueller Middle East is a joint venture between Cayan Ventures, Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company and US manufacturer Mueller Industries.
