New roles at A-Gas Americas

New positions at A-Gas Americas (l to r): Mike Armstrong, Robert Hennessy, Tim Amburgey, Taylor Ferranti and Jon Stack

USA: Mike Armstrong has been appointed COO of A-Gas Americas in a number of organisational changes at the US refrigerant supplier.

Armstrong is an experienced industrial gas executive with a breadth of experience in operations, transformational integrations, supply chain/logistics and sales. He joins A-Gas from Linde where he has worked for the last 15 years in various sales and operations roles, most recently as head of operation planning and performance for the Americas.

In other organisational changes Robert Hennessy has been appointed chief commercial officer in charge of aligning sales strategies across all business units in the Americas. Tim Amburgey has been promoted from regional director of refrigerant sales to vice president of fire protection. Taylor Ferranti has been promoted from regional director of refrigerant sales to vice president of refrigerants. Jon Stack has been promoted from VP of carbon projects to vice president of Environmental Services.

“Tim, Taylor, and Jon have all been strategic leaders and critical to our success as we transitioned and upgraded the Refrigerants and Environmental Services businesses over the last 18 months. It is important to the A-Gas Americas business that we recognise and reward those leaders and continue to build the company with talent from within.”
