Suspected refrigerant leak injures 9

USA: Nine people were taken to hospital last night after a suspected refrigerant leak at a supermarket in New Hampshire.

It is reported that the Market Basket store in Rindge was evacuated after employees carrying out inventory started collapsing and complaining of respiratory problems and dizzyness.

Investigations are continuing but a leak from the refrigeration system above the main store area is the suspected cause. Unconfirmed reports claim the refrigerant is R22.
