Nordic Climate acquires Dutch contractor

NETHERLANDS: Dutch Bakker Vakkeuken, a Dutch contractor specialist in commercial kitchen and refrigeration technology, has become part of the Swedish Nordic Climate Group.

Founded in 1988 and based in Berlikum, near Leeuwarden, Bakker Vakkeuken adds a new dimension to Nordic Climate Group’s Dutch platform, with a one-stop offering that spans design, supply, installation, service and maintenance. It has a strong position in Friesland and the wider northern Netherlands.

The owners, Peter Oostra, Willem Vellinga and Jurriaan Hoekstra, will continue to lead the company, which will operate under its existing name and local brand as part of Nordic Climate Group.
