Nordic Climate expands further in Denmark

DENMARK: The Nordic Climate Group continues its growth in the Danish market with two new contractor acquisitions in the Jutland region of northern Denmark.

The company recently acquired Hjørring-based Combikøl, while subsidiary company SA-AL Køleteknik has acquired the industrial refrigeration company EuRefa Nord.

Established in 2000, Combikøl joined forces with MT Køleservice in 2011, which was founded in 1992. Based in Hjørring, north of Aalborg, Combikøl boasts more than 40 years of experience in service and installation of cooling and freezing systems as well as heat pumps. It serves large retail chains, light industry, and the marine sector. The company also has expertise in solutions focusing on CO2 as well as service for ammonia manufacturing.

EuRefa Nord ApS was formed in 2013 and is located in Støvring near Aalborg. It will be integrated into SA-AL Køleteknik’s existing Aalborg organisation.

The Nordic Climate Group was established in 2021 and turnover now exceeds SEK5bn. It has more than 2,000 employees working some 100 locations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Netherlands.
