Petra builds factory in Saudi Arabia

SAUDI ARABIA: Jordanian air conditioning manufacturer Petra Engineering has established a factory in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia.
The new £5m, 42,000m2 factory is Petra’s first outside of Jordan and will employ 190.
Established in 1987, Petra has its headquarters and factory in the Jordanian capital Amman and a further factory to the north in Mafraq.
The company, perhaps best known for its chillers, manufactures a range of products including air handlers, fan coils and splits.
