RDM looks at future role of HVACR in retail
9th September 2017UK: Refrigeration controls company RDM has produced a free-to-download white paper looking at the future of HVACR technologies in a changing retail landscape.
Although the traditional footprint of brick and mortar stores is in decline there is still a distinct requirement for physical stores. Glasgow-based Resource Data Management (RDM) recognises that some physical store locations will, however, be required to undergo a transition to accommodate new types of business and alternative customer needs. In its white paper, RDM discusses the role of HVACR technologies as the function of retail floor space adapts to these requirements.
It looks at the opportunities for energy conscious organisations to ensure that cost efficiencies are being generated and maintained. It also describes the need for contractors to provide elegant solutions to the HVACR and BEMS requirements of retailers, and for suppliers/manufacturers to develop leading hardware and software products that meet the needs of contractors and retailers.
