SKM joins Eurovent Middle East

UAE: Sharjah-based SKM Air Conditioning, one of the Gulf region’s leading air conditioning manufacturers has joined the Eurovent Middle East association.

SKM becomes the 40th member company of Eurovent Middle East, a group which represents the region’s leading manufacturers of indoor climate, process cooling, cold chain, industrial ventilation, and building automation technologies.

Ammar Abdulateef Abdulhameed, QHSE & lab director at SKM said the company fully supported Eurovent Middle East’s aim to improve standards and legislation. “As a truly local manufacturer, SKM has always acknowledged its wider responsibility towards society. Improving energy efficiency and indoor air quality and reducing the region’s CO2 footprint are challenges we can only solve by working hand-in-hand as an industry,” he said.

Established in 1974, SKM operates from a modern state-of-the-art 43,000m² factory – one of the largest air conditioned facilities of its kind in the entire Gulf region. It has a further factory in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. SKM’s impressive product range includes unitary air conditioners, air handling units, chillers and fan coils.
