Survey studies barriers to hydrocarbons

BELGIUM: A new online survey is seeking to gauge the future for flammable hydrocarbon refrigerants and the barriers to their uptake in the EU.

Organised by “natural refrigerants” group Shecco as part of the EU-funded project Life Front, the survey findings will contribute to market research investigating the impact of current standards on the HVACR industry, and the introduction of hydrocarbon-based technology in particular. The ultimate purpose is to eliminate existing barriers for these refrigerants in the relevant industry standards.

The survey is directed at system manufacturers, end-users, trade bodies, the research community, national authorities and NPOs.

The questionnaire is anonymous and takes around 15 minutes to complete, depending on the level of detail provided. Deadline for contributions is April 2.

The survey is available here.
