Swiss ProKlima group joins Eurovent

BELGIUM: ProKlima, the Swiss association of air conditioning and ventilation manufacturers and suppliers, has joined the Eurovent Association.

ProKlima is Switzerland’s main body covering the national HVACR industry. The association is actively shaping legislation and standards on a national and canton level. On a regular basis, it organises seminars and publishes guidebooks on HVACR technologies and their application.

“Joining the Eurovent Association is an important step forward for our association,” said ProKlima president Ivan Oberti. “It is one of our core aims to share our Swiss knowledge, quality ideals, and experiences with Europe’s HVACR sector. In the same way, we aim to positively contribute to the development of European Union legislation and standards, to which we have to largely comply although we are not an EU member state.”

The addition of ProKlima brings the Eurovent Association’s membership to over 120 companies. As a result of their joining, all ventilation-related Product Group meetings in the first half of 2018 are going to take place in Switzerland.
