Thomas Donato appointed Carrier Europe CEO

USA: Former Bosch Power Tools CEO Thomas Donato has been appointed president of Climate Solutions Europe to succeed Thomas Heim.

Donato left Bosch at the end of March after three years as CEO. He previously held senior executive leadership positions at Bosch Rexroth, Rockwell Automation and ABB.

Thomas Heim is stepping down after a year in the role. He was previously CEO of Viessmann Climate Solutions prior to Carrier’s acquisition of the German manufacturer in 2024, at which time he was appointed president of Carrier’s Climate Solutions Europe Residential & Light Commercial business.

Carrier says that Donato and Heim will work closely together to ensure a seamless transition for the company’s employees, customers, and partners.
