UL to run flammables webinars

USA: UL, the American safety consulting and certification company, is holding a series of webinars on flammable refrigerants.

The series of four one-hour webinars is organised against a background of global moves to phase down HFCs and the adoption of lower GWP flammable alternatives. UL says the webinars will be of interest to anyone involved in refrigeration and air conditioning keen to keep abreast of latest codes and standards.

The first webinar – an Introduction of the 2017 updates to the white paper Revisiting Flammable Refrigerants, has already taken place but can still be listened to here.

The next webinar is on March 29 and is entitled An Overview of Codes and Standards Activities.

This will be followed by An Overview of the Science of Flammable Refrigerants on April 26 and a panel discussion on Uncertainty, Gaps, and What’s Needed to Continue the Implementation on May 17.

All take place at the same time of 14.00 EDT.
