US customs to auction 15 tonnes of seized refrigerant

USA: The US Customs and Border Protection is to auction approximately 15 tonnes of HFC refrigerants seized in actions by its officers. 

The auction of 14 lots includes variously-sized cylinders of R410A, R134a, R32, R404A and R407C has been extended to May 7.

Auction participation requires a valid AIM ID and the appropriate available HFC allowances.

The auction is being conducted by CWSAMS, a company handling auctions for government and private sector entities throughout the US.
