GERMANY: Viessmann Climate Solutions has extended its partnership with leading German football club FC Bayern Munich until 2029.

As the official climate partner of FC Bayern Munich since 2021, Viessmann Climate Solutions supports the record-breaking Bundesliga champions in implementing their own climate strategy, among other things.

Bayern’s stadium, the Allianz Arena, is currently being equipped with 19 Viessmann heat pumps to further improve the stadium’s energy efficiency and minimise CO₂ emissions.

“FC Bayern and Viessmann Climate Solutions share the ambition to achieve excellence on the pitch and in climate protection,” said Thomas Heim, Carrier’s president Climate Solutions Europe.

“Having a partner at our side that combines technological excellence with a focus on the importance of a sustainable future is essential for our joint success,” commented FC Bayern’s chief marketing and sales officer Rouven Kasper.
