Viessmann signs CO2 heat pump deal

GERMANY: Viessmann has agreed a deal with Dresden-based Dürr Thermea which will see joint sales and marketing of heat pumps.

The contract was signed by Dr Frank Voßloh of Viessmann Deutschland and Steffen Oberländer, MD of Dürr Thermea, at the recent ISH exhibition in Frankfurt.

Dürr Thermea was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Ottendorf-Okrilla, near Dresden. It manufactures CO2 heat pumps for commercial and industrial use in a range from 130kW to 1500kW, reaching flow temperatures of up to 110ºC.

The deal gives Dürr Thermea access to Viessmann’s global customers and enables Viessmann to add large CO2 heat pumps to its existing product portfolio.
