Webinar will look at firefighter training for A2L refrigerants

USA: The AHRI is to host a webinar on tactical considerations for firefighters dealing with A2L refrigerants. 

In this next instalment in the AHRI’s Safe Refrigerant Transition Task Force Webinar Series, a panel of experts will offer an overview of the firefighter training mandated by both federal and state regulations related to the refrigerant transition. This training was developed by the UL Firefighter Safety Research Institute, in partnership with members of the fire service, and the AHRI.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A on the training programme, other research, and regulatory policy issues related to the refrigerant transition. While the training programme is designed for firefighters, all are welcome to join.
