Webinar on York R1233zd chiller

USA: The reasons behind Johnson Controls’ selection of HFO refrigerant R1233zd in its latest York YZ chiller will be discussed in a free-to-access webinar this week.

Launched at the beginning of this year, the York YZ centrifugal chiller is said to be the first such machine using magnetic bearing technology designed specifically for use with the low GWP refrigerant.

In addition to explaining what refrigerants were considered in the design phase, experts from Johnson Controls will discuss why R1233zd was ultimately selected, the refrigerant’s properties and the benefits of designing around a specific refrigerant.

Speakers include YORK packaged centrifugal chiller product manager Craig Campbell and global chiller products marketing manager Jill Woltkamp.

The webinar, Refrigerant Choice and Efficiency Benefit, takes place on Thursday, April 5 at 9:00am EST (8:00am CT).
