Easing the core removal process

NETHERLANDS: Fieldpiece Instruments Europe has announced the imminent launch of a new range of valve core removal tools with swappable 1/4in and 5/16in port fittings.

Designed to be compact and convenient, the Fieldpiece VCRTs include features designed to streamline the work of engineers and include an integrated sight glass for visual confirmation of valve core capture and removal.

The active capture rod ensures secure engagement and prevents valve loss. In addition, an innovative spinner plunger allows for use of palms when applying force.

Vacuum-rated to 20 microns and A2L compatible, the VCRTs include a magnetic cap for convenient placement on site.

The VCRT will be available in three designs – VC1E, VC1GE and VC2GE  – from May 1.
