York mission critical vertical CRAH

USA: Johnson Controls has introduced a new York mission critical vertical computer room air handler, engineered to meet the growing demand for sustainable data centre technology.

The new York MCV CRAH, which is said to have been designed in close collaboration with data centre operators, has a vertical downflow and draw-through layout to deliver cooling in above-floor or under-floor data centre applications.

It boasts a compact footprint, multiple cooling capacities and plug-and-play functionality. Its use of high-efficiency EC motors, plenum fans and low heat-dissipation cabinets also contribute to lower PUE values.

The MCV CRAH is available with multiple electrical options and 30kW-60kW power output to support phased data centre expansion. Rapid manufacturing and simplified installation enable a fast and easy integration.

Johnson Controls claims that its intuitive, touchscreen HMI streamlines operation by enabling operators and engineers to quickly and easily visualise and monitor setup, alarms and capacities.
