Mitsubishi adds more R32 wall-mounts

UK: Mitsubishi Electric has launched additional R32 models with the new MSZ-AP range of wall-mounted units.

The 2.5, 3.5 and 5kW models are rated either A+++ or A++ and are said to boast industry-leading low noise levels and a built-in wi-fi interface. This enables full control and monitoring via the company’s MELCloud app, delivering remote control and interrogation of any system.

The new models also incorporate Mitsubishi Electric’s Replace Technology, which in many cases enables a direct swap with older systems utilising existing pipework.

“These three new models give even more choice for installers and make R32 available for even more situations,” explained Carl Dickinson, product specialist for the company. “We are looking to make it as easy as possible for the industry to transition away from existing refrigerants so that everyone can play their part in delivering energy efficiency in ways that minimise the impact on the environment.

“The price of R410A is also rising significantly month by month so we want to ensure that both customers and installers not only have an alternative, but also get the added benefit of increased performance and advanced controls,” he added.
