Modular CDU scalable up to 10MW

FRANCE: LiquidStack, a US-based, global, full service provider of liquid cooling for data centres, has unveiled a modular, scalable CDU with up to 10MW of cooling capacity.
The GigaModular CDU, being showcased this week at Datacloud Global Congress in Cannes, offers a fully scalable single-phase direct-to-chip liquid cooling capacities from 2.5MW to 10MW.
It features a high-efficiency IE5 pump and dual brazed plate heat exchangers, with dual 25µm strainers to protect critical components.
Its centralised design, with separate pump and control modules, reduces both the number of components and complexity.
Serviceable from the front of the unit means the system can be placed against the wall.
“AI will keep pushing thermal output to new extremes, and data centres need cooling systems that can be easily deployed, managed, and scaled to match heat rejection demands as they rise,” reflected LiquidStack CEO Joe Capes. “With up to 10MW of cooling capacity at N, N+1, or N+2, the GigaModular is a platform like no other — we designed it to be the only CDU our customers will ever need. It future-proofs design selections for direct-to-chip liquid cooling without traditional limits or boundaries.”
