Hoshizaki to begin shipments from Vietnam

JAPAN/VIETNAM: Hoshizaki, the Japanese manufacturer of commercial food and beverage refrigeration equipment, is to begin shipments from its manufacturing facility in Vietnam.

The announcement follows Hoshizaki increasing its initial 51% stakeholding in Arico, its Vietnamese manufacturing partner, to 99.616%.

Arico, a Vietnamese manufacturer and distributor of commercial and industrial freezers and food processing equipment, became a consolidated subsidiary of Hoshizaki in 2025. Since that acquisition, Hoshizaki has made production investments in Arico’s factory in Ho Chi Minh City to establish its first production base in southeast Asia.

Now that mass production is in place, shipments of commercial refrigerators manufactured at this factory will begin in early April and will be sold in Vietnam through Hoshizaki Vietnam.
