Munters launches new MX3 dehumidifiers

SWEDEN: Munters is launching a new series of commercial and industrial dehumidifiers, the MX3 and MX3 Plus, offering up to 20% lower energy consumption compared to previous models.

The MX3 is described as a powerful, scalable platform for full humidity and temperature control, whether deployed as a standalone or, in the case of the MX3 Plus, integrated into a highly configurable air treatment system.

“With Munters MX3 and MX3 Plus, we’ve applied advanced purge technology to deliver our most energy-efficient, customisable dehumidification solution yet,” said Camilla Engbrink, Munters’ VP R&D and offer management, AirTech.

The MX3 dehumidifiers come with airflow capacities from 3,000m³/h to 9,500m³/h in different sizes. The MX3 can also be integrated as the centrepiece of a larger customised MX3 Plus system, equipped with pre- and/or post-treatment modules.

Options are available for gas, steam, or electric reactivation. Pre- and/or post-treatment modules are available for filtering, heating, cooling and humidification on the MX3 PLUS systems.
